What is the Outreach program? At the root of FDC’s Outreach Program is the belief that the arts have a unique power to engage all children regardless of background, ability, social-economic status, race or religion and motivate them toward excellence. The mission is to positively impact the lives of all children through joyful & structured dance classes and community performances that inspire excellence, instill confidence, encourage teamwork and applaud persistence. The goal is to help children see that hard work, discipline, and collaboration can lead to extraordinary achievements in their lives, both on and off the dance floor. This year, as well as in previous years, FDC has provided a significant number of deserving and “in need” students with partial scholarships. Too offset this loss of income, money set aside for studio upgrades, updating website, master teachers, theater rentals, costumes etc. is diverted to the bare necessities. Help FDC through Fractured Atlas Our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, gives us the ability to receive donations, to join in fundraisers or apply for grants typically limited to nonprofit organizations and give the Donator a tax-deductible receipt. The money raised or granted will go to offset costs of theater rentals, community performances, costumes, master classes/teachers, maintain website and provide other general studio upgrades that will be benefit the entire school. We will also be able to continue our mission to offer quality and inspirational training to a diverse student base.
If you believe in these key words: inspire, collaboration, diversity, community, confidence, discipline, persistence, and achievement, Then please, make your donation today!
